Hellenika x Dinosaur Designs x The Calile

What do an award-winning hotel, a much-loved restaurant and one of Australia’s most renowned design studios have in common?  Aside from each being loved and lauded leaders in their respective fields?  They have come together to celebrate 15-years of the dining institution Hellenika and the launch of the icon’s book, also Hellenika.

The trio are celebrating the Greek legend’s milestone in three ways:

Hellenika

Hellenika have rightfully gone big and generous to celebrate 15-years, unlocking the armoire to share their most treasured recipes via a lush 272-page book, Hellenika. This collection of 110 of their most delicious recipes is now available to purchase at Hellenika, M.O.S.T. and at good bookshops. Christmas gifts sorted!

 

Dinosaur Designs

In celebration of Hellenika’s 15-year milestone, Dinosaur Designs has created a limited-edition pair of salad servers in matching Hellenika pink* (*ref book cover). This limited series will only be available to purchase when bundled with the Hellenika book in-venue at the restaurant. So, when dishing up the iconic horiatiki salata on pg 107 (classic Greek salad to the rest of us) you can flex the matching servers too.

 

The Calile

Hellenika wouldn’t be the same without its chic Calile address, nor would The Calile without its fun Greek poolside resident. In honour of this symbiotic relationship, The Calile celebrated in two ways:

1. Food Culture

By hosting an absorbing Calile Culture lunch at Hellenika with owner Simon Gloftis exploring the venue’s rich history, its people and his passion for food together with Jill Dupleix, Culinary Editor of the Australian Financial Review.

2. Foodie Book Club

The Calile has appointed Hellenika as its quarterly Book Club book – so guests can recreate those golden Calile food-memories of pool + zucchini chips + cocktails at home.
