The perfect pair can be difficult to find, so we took five-minutes with the women behind the namesake boutique – Samantha Ogilvie – to learn about the ‘it’ style for winter, whether the Canadien tuxedo is play-on, the scoop on low-rise jeans and more.
JS: Loose or skinny fit – are different fits better for different body types?
SO: There is certainly a perfect jean for everyone, and with so many cut variations there is no steadfast rule. We love nothing more than a customer discovering a new jean they never dreamed of wearing confidently.
JS: The one pair of jeans EVERYONE must have in their wardrobe this winter?
SO: The Frame ‘Le Hardy’ jean is a nod to the 70s wide leg but kept clean and refined. Looks impeccable styled with a knit or statement blouse and is heel or boot friendly for the cooler months.
JS: Are low rise jeans making a comeback?
SO: You will definitely see low-rise denim options come through, but we can all shed a sigh of relief – they won’t be as extreme as the early noughties. The low rise denim will still allow for comfort and figure-flattering proportion.
JS: Double denim – love or hate?
