JSFWT26: The Afters

James St Food + Wine Trail (JSFWT) may officially wrap at 4PM, but the last stall does not have to mean the last stop.

Once The Main Course has been served and the street starts to settle, The Afters take things in-house. Across the precinct, resident venues will keep Sunday 26 July moving with post-Trail drinks, DJs, late bites and a few very good reasons not to go home just yet.

From dinner-to-drinks double acts to Latin-inspired dance floors, supper club moods and easy pub-style finishes, this is where to head when your Trail day needs a second sitting.

ESSA + The Nixon Room

Make a move from plate to glass with a two-part after-dark plan. Start with fire-led food at ESSA, then slip next door to The Nixon Room for a laneway drinks stop that keeps the night close to the action.

LOS

For all of his loyal fans, this is where you’ll find TyTieThai on Sunday 26 July. Joined by Champagne Parmi, the duo will take over the decks from 4PM, bringing Latin-leaning beats, bright drinks and the kind of post-Trail energy that makes heading home feel wildly premature.

Penelope

Penelope brings a little after-dark glamour to The Afters, taking JSFWT from open-air feast to low-lit supper club. From 4PM, expect polished drinks, a live DJ and the kind of room that makes staying out feel like the obvious next course.

Sixes and Sevens

If your ideal after-party looks more like a cold drink, a familiar booth and one more round, Sixes and Sevens has the finish sorted. The precinct’s OG public house will keep the good times going with beers, beats and after-party energy.
